Financial Requirements

Depending on whether you are going study in Quebec, or any other Canadian Province or Territory, you need to show a certain amount of money to support yourself. If you are not able to show this required amount of funds, your application can be rejected.

For every other additional family member you add to your application, you will need to show this extra amount per twelve-month periodAdditional $3,000 Canadian Dollars per twelve-month period per additional family memberAdditional $5,125 Canadian Dollars per twelve-month period per additional family member who is 18 years of age or older OR Additional $1,903 Canadian Dollars per twelve-month period per additional family member who is under 18 years of age

If there are foreign-exchange control measures in your country, you must provide proof that the exchange control authorities will allow you to export funds for all of your expenses.
