Express Entry Score Hits New Low

On July 17th, 2015 Citizenship and Immigration Canada did their 13th draw under Express Entry and handed out 1,516 Invitations to Apply.

Many people have asked what they mean by “draw”. They simply use that term for when they select individuals from the Express Entry Pool based on their Comprehensive Ranking System Score. You can read more about that process here:

The minimum score for selection in round 13 decreased yet again! The minimum score for this round was 451 down from last week’s 463. This means those selected did not have a job offer or a Provincial nomination which is great news again for those of you in the pool without a job offer or nomination. This has been the lowest score selected to date. 

Previous Draws were as follows:

  1. January 31st, 2015 – 779 invitations – Minimum score of 886
  2. February 7th, 2015 – 779 invitations – Minimum score of 818
  3. February 20th, 2015 – 849 invitations – Minimum score of 808
  4. February 27th, 2015 – 1187 invitations – Minimum score of 735
  5. March 20th, 2015 – 1620 invitations – Minimum score of 481
  6. March 27th, 2015 – 1637 invitation – Minimum score of 453
  7. April 10th, 2015 – 925 invitations – Minimum score of 469
  8. April 17th, 2015 – 715 invitations – Minimum score of 453
  9. May 22nd, 2015 – 1361 invitations – Minimum score of 755
  10. June 12th, 2015 – 1501 invitations – Minimum score of 482
  11. June 26th, 2015 – 1575 invitations – Minimum score of 469
  12. July 10th, 2015 – 1516 invitations – Minimum score of 463

Total invitations to date = 16,025
